On the feeds that has enclosures it can be specified a downloading path, where to be downloaded all enclosures of that feed. Download manager is a component that shows enclosures downloading status. When a feed is refreshing and has that path specified and it has also the check on for download enclosures, all its enclosures will be enqued in download manager.

You can download any type of enclosure attached to an article or bowsing the article description you can download any linked object from this description. There are two ways to add a new download task to download manager:

After a new download task is added to download manager this will start automatically in background, showing to you other icon for download activity in status bar.
